Authors: Muzyka D.

Address: National Scientific Center «Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine», Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Abstract: To date, 11 serotypes of avian paramyxoviruses (PMA-1 - PMA-11) are known. But of all the serotypes the particular dangerous for the poultry industry represents serotype 1 - Newcastle disease virus. Since 80-ies PMV serotype 1 isolated from pigeons, became known as "pigeon paramixoviruses of  serotype 1". In most cases they are not much different from other PMV-1, but the danger of this disease should be assessed in terms of the fact that pigeons are the main reservoir of highly virulent PMV-1 for poultry. The main goal of our research was to conduct epidemiological monitoring of paramyxovirus infection in pigeons, the study of these viruses circulating in the population of pigeons in different regions, and biological properties of isolated viruses. During the virological studies of biological material from sick pigeons from four regions of Ukraine since 2007 to 2011 we isolated 11 haemagglutinating viruses that have been identified as PMV serotype 1. According to the results of sequencing of all seven isolates all of them belong to the class II Newcastle disease virus (4 to II genotype, one-to-Ia genotype and two to VI).

Authors: Malinin M.L., Gabalov K.P., Laskavy V.N.

Address: State Institution Saratov Scientific and Recearch Veterinary Institute Russian Academy for Agricultural Sciences, Russia.

Abstract: Studies were conducted on peritoneal cells, separated the cells of the liver, spleen and blood of white mice. Shown that both AST and ALT released of the cells of the liver, and the activity of enzymes depends on the content in the environment of different leukocyte subpopulations. It is shown that AST has on the immune response involved in the white cells activating effect, which is reflected in the increase in the intensity of cellular respiration. The effect was most pronounced for the cells, less pronounced for peritoneal macrophages and neutrophilic granulocytes for small series. These results suggest that the liver cells involved in the immune response, perceiving information on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the white blood cells and correcting the metabolic activity of leukocytes through the allocation Wednesday enzymes, especially enzymes AST and ALT.

Abstract: The experimental animals were female rabbits aged 1 year weighing 3 kg. Zone for the local effects of laser infrared radiation are selected based on the highest concentrations of biologically active points, responsible for blood, ie on the left side of the blade. Place shear effects, shaved and degreased 96o alcohol to make direct contact with the skin of animal heads. Worked on the selected zone contact method, using a special attachment for this quantum therapy device for veterinary practice "RIKTA-01" (M2V), 50 Hz, for 3 minutes. In the whole blood of experimental animals studied red blood cells, white blood cells, lymphocytes, neutrophils, and force leukogram.
After the local impact of laser radiation in the infrared points BAT rabbits noted the following changes in the peripheral blood leukocyte count increased on day 3 is due primarily due to higher levels of lymphocytes, also on day 3 was a sharp increase in the number of red blood cells and the lack of young forms of neutrophils . Other indicators are behaving quite stable. Obtained in the course of the experiment data suggest synergistic effects when exposed to quantum radiation on acupressure points that are responsible for blood formation, occurring in vivo and confirmed hematologic studies.
