Title: | THE ROLE OF THE EXCHANGE OF PURINE MONONUCLEOTIDES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SECONDARY SEPSIS IN ANIMALS |
Authors: | Chernigovà S.V. |
Address: | Institute of Veterinary Medicine Omsk State Agrarian University. |
Abstract: | Secondary (iatrogenic) sepsis and its complications are characterized by difficulty in diagnosis, treatment, and are accompanied by high mortality of animals. Development of the phenomena of inflammation, expressed in increased plasma levels of C-reactive protein contributes to, excessive lipid peroxidation of unsaturated fatty acids of membrane structures. Traditional treatment of animals with secondary sepsis did not significantly affect the excessive catabolism of purine mononucleotides, intensified education of peroxide compounds, enhancing their inactivation in the reactions associated with use of glutathione on the background of insufficient recovery formed in this glutationdisulfida. |

Abstract: | Diabetes is characterized by insufficiency of the pancreatic beta cells to maintain normoglycemia. It subjects millions to a daily burden of disease management, life threatening hypoglycemia and long-term complications such as retinopathy, nephropathy, heart disease, and stroke. The replacement of insulin-producing ?-cells by islet transplantation can efficiently reverse diabetes. This article is about the trial of transplantation of fetal rabbit pancreas ?-cells to 5 dogs and 3 cats with diabetes. Cells were infused into liver in the dose of 105 cells/1 kg body weight into 5 places. |

Abstract: | The pectin hydrolyzates of pomace with succinic and citric acids, obtained on rotary-pulsating apparatus “Two-stage homogenizer YMIX 3” as nutrient supplements for broilers, are studied. The pronounced positive effect of the studied products on the production characteristics at feeding the broilers is demonstrated: the body weight increase reaches 6.4% in the end of growing period as respects the control group, average daily weight increase – up to 6.6%, meat yield from every broiler – up to 2%. At that the loss and cull of weak poultry reduces 4 times. Under the supplements effect the broilers organism resistance increase, the liver functional state improvement and metabolic processes intensification is observed. |
