CHANGE OF HEMATOLOGICAL PARAMETERS AT RACE HORSES UNDER ACTION OF AN EXERCISE STRESS

Authors: N.Orlova; S.Pozov; M.Ponomaryova.

Address: The Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Abstract: Clinical inspection of race horses in the age 2 to 4 of breeds thoroughbred (8 heads) and Arabian (14 heads) has been carried out. A plenty (72,7%) animals with pathologies of cardiovascular system, including among the thoroughbred horses 50% and the Arabian horses 85,7% is revealed. Healthy race horses of both breeds responded to intensive exercise stresses by substantial growth of quantity of erythrocytes and a haemoglobin, and also a small lymphocytosis and a granulocytopenia. It was considerably enlarged thrombocrit. At animals with pathologies of cardiovascular system the lymphocytopenia and granulocytocytosis has been registered. Despite of some breed differences, horses of both breeds, healthy and sick, responded to a load similarly.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CORRECTION OF STRESSES, IMMUNODEFICIENCIES AND EFFICIENCY OF BIRDS

Authors: Slavetsky M.B., Gluharev Â.À.

Address: «Helvet» company.

Abstract:

Vaccination of birds with low level of resistance does not lead to development of the high-grade immune answer and is accompanied by quantity increase postvaccinal complications.
EVL-SE composition, that was given for 19-20 day’s chickens with drinking water in a dose of 0,02 ml per head once a day for 20 days, induces an increase the titre of antibodies to a virus of illness of Newcastle on 2 log2 compared with the control group. This result demonstrates, that EVL-SE composition stimulate the immune system.
